The Indian cricket team is gearing up for the third and final ODI, as they will play for pride on Saturday (December 10) in Chattogram after losing the ODI series 0-2 to Bangladesh.

While Team India will be without their regular captain, Rohit Sharma, who returned to Mumbai for specialist consultation after injuring his thumb while fielding during the second ODI, head coach Rahul Dravid is devoting extra time into giving important tips to his players ahead of the final ODI against the Tigers.

On Friday, December 9, the BCCI shared a short clip on its official Twitter handle, where Dravid can be seen giving some valuable batting advice to the young all-rounder Washington Sundar during India’s net session in Chattogram.

In order to give some batting advice to Sundar, the legendary batter switched his style and turned into a left-hander to show the spin all-rounder a better way to play some of the shots, as the latter was seen playing a punch off the back foot on the leg side during the practice.

In the video, David can be seen showing Washington the cover drive, the trigger movement that is required to play the backfoot punch, and how much the front foot should stretch forward to get to the pitch of the ball.

The head coach also showed Sundar how close the ball needs to be to the body if the cut shot is to be attempted without risk during his coaching class on Friday.
