Ahead of the explosive India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 final on September 28, 2025, that will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, the local Dubai police have cracked the whip on fans and spectators.
This will be the first time in 41 years that India and Pakistan will clash in the final of the Asia Cup tournament. India has already defeated Pakistan twice in the ongoing tournament, and their matches have been in the news for the off-field and on-field antics.
From the no-handshake policy adopted by the Indian team in the group stage game to Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan’s provocative gestures in the Super Fours game, things have only heated up going into the summit clash.
As per the Hindustan Times report, the Dubai Police have released strict rules for the Asia Cup final spectators ahead of the high-profile match. The dos and don'ts have been spelled out in detail in a robust security alert.
All ticket holders are encouraged by the Dubai Police to arrive at least three hours before the start of play, which is set for 8 PM IST. One entry per valid ticket is permitted, and as there is no space for reentry, anyone who leaves the stadium during the game will not be permitted to return.
Additionally, fans are required to abide by the stewards' directions, and parking is only permitted in approved spots. Since supporters of India and Pakistan are not allowed to bring flags, banners, or firecrackers into the Dubai International Stadium, a list of forbidden goods has also been provided on the official website.
A fine of INR 1.2 lakh to INR 7.24 lakh may be imposed for violations such as pitch invasions, carrying prohibited objects, or using foul language. Additionally, offenders risk a maximum sentence of three months in jail.
