India and Pakistan are locking horns for the second time in the ongoing Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (September 21).
Just like the group-stage match, the pre-match atmosphere appeared quite tense in the Super 4 clash. At the toss, India skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha walked out together but refrained from shaking hands or acknowledging each other.
The Men in Blue won the toss and opted to bowl first. As Suryakumar spoke to presenter Ravi Shastri, Agha kept looking straight down, before the Indian captain crossed behind him without even an eye contact.

Following the “no handshake” row last Sunday (September 14), the PCB had threatened to pull out of the continental event if match referee Andy Pycroft was not removed.
The Pakistan board had slammed Pycroft for his role in the entire episode, accusing the Zimbabwean match official of siding with India by instructing captains not to shake hands at the toss.
The ICC, however, rejected Pakistan's demand to remove Pycroft as an official for the Asia Cup 2025. In fact, he is officiating the ongoing India versus Pakistan match in Dubai.
