There is a lot of excitement surrounding the India versus Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2025, due to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next month.
The arch-rivals are slated to square off on September 14 at the Dubai International Stadium in a Group A fixture. They might face each other thrice in the continental showpiece, provided both teams make it to the Super 4s and final.
With the high-voltage fixture around the corner, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has backed his team to get the better of India.
In a video doing rounds on social media, an individual holding the camera – presumably a fan – asked Rauf about the possibility of Pakistan meeting India twice in the tournament.
To which, the right-arm quick replied, “Dono apne hai, Inshallah (Both matches are ours, God willing)."
The Asia Cup 2025 will be played in the T20I format from September 9 to September 28. The marquee tournament will feature 8 teams and a total of 19 matches, including the title clash.
India and Pakistan are slotted in Group A alongside UAE and Oman while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong form Group B.
