Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has done a lot of chattering from behind the stumps this series. He was sledged by the Australians when he came to bat and Pant tried to give it back in the last innings of Melbourne Test.

Going at almost every batsman, Pant also had a chat with Nathan Lyon who walked in to save the Test match for Australia on the fourth day.

It was the 80th over of the game and while spinner Ravindra Jadeja was bowling, Pant was close to the stumps. Before the ball was bowled, the wicket-keeper said, "Come on Gary. You don't want to come tomorrow for nothing."

Lyon replied, "I can't even understand what you're saying, mate." Then he turned back and said, "I like you too Rishabh".

India has the game in their hand and they are only two wickets away from a historic victory. Australian batters Pat Cummins at 61* and Lyon at 6* will fight on last day of the match to avoid India from taking a lead.

Earlier in the match, Pant was roasted by Tim Paine from behind the stumps and the Indian had countered him with words when the latter came in to bat. "We have got a special guest here. Have you heard the word temporary captain ever? You [Jadeja] don't need anything to get him out. Come on lads.

"He loves to talk, that's the only thing he can do. Only talking," Pant said.
