India is just moving forward while facing multiple setbacks despite being without Virat Kohli and Mohammad Shami and then series of injuries to the frontline cricketers on the ongoing tour.

Team India is without seven of their first-choice bowlers in the ongoing Brisbane Test, but each player including the newcomers took the responsibility and stepped up and shown great fightback to keep themselves alive in the ongoing Test series against Australia.

The ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy has seen every Indian player enjoy each other’s success and stand by each other and on Monday, they have yet again shown their comradeship when Bumrah walked out to the boundary rope to greet Siraj with a hug after Australia were bowled out for 294 in their 2nd innings in the ongoing series-decider Test.

Reacting to Bumrah’s gesture, Jadeja said it is a team spirit that has helped the Indian team to bounce back every time in the last couple of years while saying the senior pacer who was ruled out with an abdomen strain would have been relieved to see Siraj doing a good job in his absence.

Jadeja said on Sony Six on Monday, “That's what makes a team. You're one of the leaders, you're probably better than the other guy. But when you're not there and you see the other guy fulfill the job that you were supposed to do, it fills your heart.”

He added, “In Jasprit Bumrah's case, he won't be feeling that he has let down the game. 'The last Test match is so important, the team required me, you would have spent 2 days thinking you have let your team down'. But when you see your teammate come in and do the job you have done or probably done better on that particular day. If you can feel happy about it, that just shows the way this team thinks.”

Jadeja signed off, “The reason why this team has bounced back every time in the last two years, that can only happen, within this side, there is no one thinking 'oh my place is in danger'. With the captain and the coach we have had the last 2-3 years, there is nobody's place there. Everybody has been rotating in the merry go round. Everybody feels part of the team. Everybody feels responsible enough.”

Noteworthy, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will resume batting on Tuesday on Day 5 with India still needing 324 runs to go 2-1 up and win the series in Brisbane against Australia.
