Six spectators at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on day four of the third Test were escorted out by the police. India captain Ajinkya Rahane and fast bowler Mohammed Siraj complained about disruptive behavior from the section of the crowd.
Team India had already lodged an official complaint with match referee David Boon about racial abuse against Jasprit Bumrah and Siraj by spectators.
On Sunday (December 10), Siraj was upset over something being said by the crowd near the boundary ropes after he got hit for a couple of sixes by the Australia all-rounder Cameron Green in the 86th over.
The play was stopped for a while as the security police took action immediately. The Cricket fraternity reacted to the incident on Twitter. From Virender Sehwag to Wasim Jaffer, they all were not happy with the behavior of the crowd.
