Australia ace batsman Steve Smith and opener Joe Burns got roasted by a fan during New Zealand's ongoing second Test against Pakistan. The fan was sitting holding a banner with a hilarious message written on it.

Smith and Burns are currently going through a rough patch in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Indian bowlers have not allowed the no.3 ranked batsman, Smith to score freely. He has managed only 10 runs in 4 innings and his scores are 1, 1*, 0, and 8.

The fan at Hagley Oval during New Zealand vs Pakistan's clash put the bats of Smith and Burns on sale. "Cricket bats for sale. Barely used. Call: S. Smith, J Burns @ Cricket Australia", the message on the banner read.

Smith has been dismissed thrice in the series and R Ashwin got him out twice. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed him in the second innings of the Boxing Day Test. He was clueless about his leg stump while trying to glance the ball on pads to the fine leg which went on to hit the stump.

Burns has managed only one fifty which came in the second innings of the first Test while chasing a low target of 90 runs. He has been dropped from the Australian Test squad as David Warner is expected to return for SCG Test.
