AUS v IND 2020-21: "Special team, special win" Team India members ecstatic after MCG Test triumph

India won the second Test at MCG by 8 wickets, series 1-1 with 2 matches to go.

Indian team registered an emphatic 8-wicket win over Australia in the second Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on day 4 of the match, chasing down the 70-run target with ease.

It was a brilliant comeback win from the Indians, who was not only shot out for their lowest Test score of 36 in Adelaide but were also missing key players in the second match, including captain Virat Kohli.

Ajinkya Rahane led the Indian team missing Ishant Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Mohammad Shami into MCG, and bowled first after losing the toss. But under his captaincy, India bowled out Australia for 195 runs, with Bumrah picking four wickets and Ashwin getting three.

India replied with 326 with Captain Rahane making 112 and Ravindra Jadeja making 57 and Shubman Gill contributing a well-made 45 runs.

Australia, in the second innings, struggled to get partnerships going and were bowled out for 200 runs, with Cameron Green making 45, and Matthew Wade making 40. Debutant Mohammed Siraj picked three wickets.

India won the Test with ease, as captain Rahane hit the winning runs and Indian fans went into celebration mode soon after.

Not only the fans, but the Indian team members also celebrated with some group photos and messages on Twitter, after the amazing MCG Test win.
