Australia captain Tim Paine took a brilliant catch behind the stumps to get rid of India's Cheteshwar Pujara back on Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test. Pujara, who had survived a few edges earlier in his innings, had to walk back after scoring 17 runs.

It was a terrific take from Paine although he was initially wrong-footed while going for the catch. Diving to his right after Pat Cummins managed to get Pujara's edge, the Australia captain was delighted to keep a hold on to the ball.

Even Shane Warne on-air was in awe of the outstanding catch. "Screamer, it wouldn't have carried to the slips. Excellent catch from the wicketkeeper," Warne said.

Earlier in the session, Paine had dropped Shubman Gill on 28 runs. It was the 13th overs bowled by Josh Hazlewood which got inside edge of Gill but the wicket-keeper failed to collect it.

The debutant went on to add 17 more runs after being dropped. He was dismissed on 45 by Cummins and this time Paine didn't drop him.
