India's Ravindra Jadeja is considered to have the safest pair of hands. He showed it once again during the opening day of the Boxing Day Test by taking a spectacular catch.
It was the 11th over of Australia's innings when opener Matthew Wade tried to attack spinner R Ashwin but ended up getting a top-edge. Jadeja was running to take the catch and so was Shubman Gill.
Although the India all-rounder clearly made the call it was his catch, Gill didn't stop charging towards the ball from midwicket.
Despite all this, Jadeja didn't move his eyes away from the ball and kept a hold on to it even after a near collision with the debutant. Wade had to walk back on 30 (39).
