India lost skipper Virat Kohli's wicket in the last session on the first day of the opening Test in Adelaide. It was a very unfortunate dismissal as Kohli was run-out on a mix-up with batting partner Ajinkya Rahane.
Rahane called for a single after pushing the final ball of the 77th over bowled by Nathan Lyon to mid-off. He realized that there isn't any run, but it was too late for Kohli, who usually responds very fast. Before Ajinkya could decline the run, Kohli was way outside his crease and was run-out eventually.
Kohli walked back after scoring 74 runs and he looked good enough to get another hundred at Adelaide. Rahane was also soon dismissed by Mitchell Starc by Leg Before Wicket on 42 runs.

Fans were furious with the mix-up and slammed Rahane for messing up good going Indian innings. From 188/3, India soon lost three wickets and struggled at 206/6 in the last session.
