Team India is getting their battery charged ahead of the important clash against Australia in the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide. The players took part in a fun drill to keep themselves in a good frame of mind.
BCCI's official Twitter account shared a video on Twitter of the unusual drill. The smile on their faces was enough to tell they are enjoying the training.
"Fun drill anyone? ???????? Sample that to get your batteries????charged before a solid net session ???????? #TeamIndia #AUSvIND," wrote BCCI.
The opening encounter, which will be played on Thursday, is a pink-ball Test at Adelaide. This is going to be the first time India will play day-night Test Down Under. They were proposed to play day-night Test on their last tour to Australia too, but India said they were not ready.
The preparations are going in full flow for the visitors as the challenge this time would be tougher. Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, the two batters who would play a vital role in the series were seen hitting the nets.
