AUS v IND 2020-21: Indians-Australia A play out a draw; McDermott, Wildermuth hit tons

Rishabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah shined for India.

Mohammad Shami ended up with 5 wickets in the match | GettyThe pink-ball D/N warmup match between Indians and Australia A ended up in a draw on the final day, with the hosts ending up on 307/4 in chase of the 473-run target.

In their chase, Australia A lost openers Marcus Harris and Joe Burns for single-digit scores to Mohammad Shami. Burns now has scores of 4,0,0 and 1 in four innings of the two warm-up matches, which has put his place in the Australia XI for the first Test in Adelaide against India in danger.

Nic Maddinson made 14 before falling to Siraj and Alex Carey made 58 before Hanuma Vihari scalped his wicket.

However, the day belonged to Ben McDermott and Jack Wildermuth, both of whom scored unbeaten centuries and added 165 runs for the 5th wicket. McDermott ended with 107* in 167 balls with 17 fours, while Wildermuth was much more adventurous, making 111* in 119 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes.
