Former Australia captain Ian Chappell recently revealed India head coach Ravi Shastri shared that India most likely will use Umesh Yadav as the third pacer in the first Test of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide, starting from December 17.
Chappell said he was having a drink with Shastri when the latter told him about India's third pacer. Fast bowler Ishant Sharma was ruled out of the tour to Australia. “I was having a drink with Ravi (Shastri) the other day and he told me that probably (Umesh) Yadav will get the nod as the third pacer.”, was quoted by PTI.
