Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja on Sunday (December 6) caught the attention for his cheeky jibe at Virat Kohli after the Indian skipper dropped an easy catch during the second T20I against Australia at the SCG.
In the 8th over of Australia's innings, Kohli dropped a sitter at cover off Matthew Wade, who was eventually run-out in the same sequence.

However, the talk was more about Kohli's drop chance than Wade’s dismissal as the Indian captain had also spilled an easy catch in the T20I series opener.
During the mid-innings break, Jadeja commented on the drop catch, stating: "I am not worried about the Indian team but the baby arriving."
“Virat Kohli over the years we’ve seen he’s taken some exceptional catches. Today, I think he had time but he was off-balance when he was just about to catch it. And these things happen. When you start dropping them, even these dollies, then, the ball appears like a bomb coming towards you,” he further said on-air for the host broadcaster.
However, cricket fans on Twitter felt Ajay Jadeja’s baby joke on Kohli’s drop catch was not in a good taste.
Here’s how the fans reacted:
Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their first child in January. Therefore, the captain will go on paternity leave after the Test series opener in Adelaide.
