Team India has come back strongly after being beaten convincingly in the first two ODIs. While the third ODI got a bit closer, the two T20Is have been quite significant for the visitors. While things weren't looking bright for India before, former England captain Michael Vaughan had made a bold prediction.
He had gone on to say on social media that Team India will lose each of the three formats against the hosts on their tour Down Under. India began with a 1-2 loss in the ODI series to start the tour.
AUS v IND 2020-21: "Australia will beat India in everything," Michael Vaughan predicts India's fate
However, India has gained an unassailable lead 2-0 lead in the T20I series and proved Vaughan wrong already. The 46-year-old was quick to take to Twitter again and take note of the fact that he had got one prediction wrong.
Vaughan still believes that the Indian side will lose the Test series and has stuck to the final prediction.
He tweeted, "Got my prediction slightly wrong ... India lost the ODI series ... Have Won the T20 series which I didn’t predict ... But they will lose the Test series ... #OnOn #2out3aintBad #AUSvIND"
