India secured the T20I series against Australia with a thrilling last-over win by six wickets at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday (December 6). India began the tour with couple of listless defeats on the same ground during the ODI series, before winning the dead rubber in Canberra to salvage some pride.

Former England captain, Michael Vaughan, who now works as a cricket expert and commentator, was unimpressed by what he saw from the Indian team and on November 27 had predicted a defeat in all three formats for the visitors on this tour.

India has become a formidable T20I unit under Virat Kohli, and have now won their last 10 completed matches in the format. The team has registered convincing series victories in South Africa, England, West Indies, New Zealand, and now Australia since the start of 2018. Perhaps Vaughan was a bit too hasty in deciding the fate of the team on the tour, especially in the shortest format of the game.

Former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer, who has become extremely popular with the fans for his memes and witty tweets, did not let the opportunity slip and quoted Vaughan's tweet with a hilarious meme from Bollywood film Gangs of Wasseypur.
