Team India came back strong in the third ODI to avoid a whitewash against Australia. Hardik Pandya (92*) and Ravindra Jadeja (66*) uplifted the team with a sensational 150* runs partnership after being 152/5 at one stage.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly lauded the effort from Hardik and Jadeja. He congratulated team India for the 13-run victory and also acknowledged that Jadeja and Pandya can do wonders for India on the Australia tour.

"Good win for India in spite of series loss..hopefully, it will turn things around as it's a long tour ..Jadeja and Pandiya can be huge assets to this team in the long run ..plays at difficult positions ..," Ganguly tweeted.

India defended the target by getting Australia all-out in the last over on 289 runs. Pandya was picked as the Man of the Match for his career-best performance. 

Shardul Thakur picked 3 wickets, and Jasprit Bumrah, T Natarajan bagged a couple of wickets each. It was Glenn Maxwell's wicket by Bumrah which turned the game completely in India's favor.
