Team India skipper hasn't been in the best of nicks in the last 12 months since they visited New Zealand earlier in the year. Kohli has just about found his form with a score of 89 in the 2nd ODI against Australia.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has revealed that like millions of fans around the world, his son is a huge fan of Virat Kohli. He has revealed that his son wakes up especially to watch the Indian captain bat.

Vaughan said on Cricbuzz Live, "My little boy is a little player and all he does is, always says to me, when Virat comes out to bat, just wake me up. As soon as Virat goes out getting caught at midwicket, he goes back inside to do something else."

"He's that powerful with the kids. When you see shots like that fly off the middle of the bat without any real effort or doesn't seem like any much effort going into the stroke - it's just flying into the stands. He’s a special player, he's an absolute genius," he added.

The Indian cricket team has a lot of issues to solve before they go ahead on the tour after two significant defeats in the first two ODIs. One issue that Vaughan believes shouldn't be a problem for the visitors is Virat Kohli's form.

"The one thing I don't worry about with Virat Kohli is his batting. There is no concern about his batting whatsoever. He is a wonderful player, he's the best of the era across the formats, there are no doubts about that," Vaughan said.

Kohli will play the 3rd ODI, 3 T20Is, and the first Test before flying back to India.
