Australia explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell smashed a 19-ball 45 against India in the first ODI on Friday (November 27). The innings which included five boundaries and three sixes made the Indian fans discuss his poor form in IPL 2020.

Maxwell failed to hit a single six in the whole tournament for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) but wasn't looking out of form for Australia. The fans found it funny to imagine KXIP captain KL Rahul's feelings when Maxwell was scoring freely against India.

Even New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham, who also had a disappointing season for KXIP, played an important knock in his team's T20I win over West Indies. He scored unbeaten 48 runs off 24 deliveries while chasing target of 176 in 16 overs. 

After the match, Neesham responded to a funny meme on social media and tagged his friend Maxwell. The Aussie jokingly replied that he apologized to Rahul while batting. 

"I apologized to him while I was batting. #KXIPfriends," Maxwell wrote after Australia's win in the first ODI over India.
