The Indian cricket team paid a heartfelt tribute to former Australian players, Dean Jones and Phil Hughes, at the start of the international cricket summer down under on Friday (November 27) at the great Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Virat Kohli & company are seen wearing black armbands in the first ODI in memory of Jones and Hughes, who are both now lost to us.

It is on this very day six years back that Hughes tragically went down at SCG following a blow to his neck off a bouncer playing a Sheffield Shield fixture against New South Wales in the 2014-15 season.
The left-hand batsman's untimely death saddened the entire cricketing world and led to greater focus on rules around head injuries, helmet wear and concussion protocols.
After trialling it out in first-class cricket, the International Cricket Council (ICC) last year introduced concussion substitutes in Test cricket. Teams have also taken greater care of their players when it comes to the head blows.
Jones, one of Australia's finest ever batsmen, sadly died in September after a sudden heart attack in a hotel in Mumbai where he was present as an expert for IPL host broadcaster Star Sports.
"#TeamIndia are sporting black armbands to pay their tributes to Dean Jones and in memory of Phillip Hughes, who passed away on this day six years ago," tweeted BCCI with a picture of Indian players wearing black armbands.
