Aaron Finch and Virat Kohli will lead Australia and India respectively in the ODI and T20I series starting from Friday, November 27. The Aussies will have a task at hand keeping the Indian skipper quiet during the six limited-overs games.
Finch talked to the reports on Virat Kohli's amazing record in limited-overs cricket and how there aren't many chinks in his armour.
AUS v IND 2020-21: "Virat Kohli doesn't have any weakness in particular", says Jason Gillespie
Aaron Finch told ANI in a virtual press conference, "He doesn't have too many, to be honest. If you have a look at his record it's second to none. His records are remarkable. I think we need to keep in mind is we have to keep looking for ways to get him out because if go away from this you could miss the trip."
The 34-year-old even called Kohli as probably the best one day player in the world.
"There are not too many chinks in his armour. He is probably the best one day player pf all time. It's about sticking to our plan," Finch added.
The Australian limited-overs skipper was not in form during IPL 2020 where he played under the leadership of his Indian counterpart. In 12 innings, he scored just 268 runs.
Finch said, "I think scoring runs in any format gives the player confidence. When you make runs you feel good but that is easier said than done in the shortest format of the game. The form is good and it's great to have a good form behind you."
