Fans weren't happy with the sponsors occupying majority of space on new India jersey.

India batsman Shikhar Dhawan shared a glimpse of India's retro jersey on Tuesday. He posted a picture wearing the jersey which is similar to the one used in 1992.

Fans were not happy with the sponsors on the jersey and some felt they have occupied more than enough space. BCCI has signed a three-year contract with MPL Sports from November 2020 to December 2023. 

MPL replaced Nike in a three-year deal worth Rs 120 crores plus revenue share. "New Jersey, renewed motivation. Ready to go. ????????," wrote Dhawan on Twitter. The southpaw is part of the India ODI and T20I squad on the Australia tour.

The hosts, Australia will also sport a new-designed jersey for the T20 series. The hosts will be donning Indigenous shirts in the upcoming series against India.
