Young Kartik Tyagi had an interaction with his senior Jasprit Bumrah during the practice session on the Australia tour. The India pacer Bumrah can be seen sharing tips Kartik in the pictures shared by BCCI.
The 20-year-old Kartik, who has traveled to Australia as an additional bowler, was listening to Bumrah very carefully. "When you have the best in the business to guide you in your journey. @Jaspritbumrah93 @tyagiktk #TeamIndia," wrote BCCI on Twitter.
BCCI has named Tyagi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, T Natarajan, and Ishan Porel with the rest of the India squad as reserve pacers.
Tyagi was among the players who grabbed attention in the U-19 World Cup 2020. He also played for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2020.
Bumrah and Mohammad Shami will be seen leading the bowling attack in the ODI series against Australia. They will have Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur along with them.
