The new design resembles a throwback to India's 1992 World Cup jersey | TwitterIndian opener Shikhar Dhawan took it upon himself to reveal the new look jersey that the Indian team will sport in the upcoming white-ball matches against Australia starting November 27.

The new-look jersey is in dark blue color, a throwback to the 1992 World Cup design which was also held in Australia and New Zealand. The jersey sees India written in bright orange letters, with new kit sponsors MPL on the right and BCCI logo with three stars on the left.

New jersey, renewed motivation. Ready to go” tweeted Shikhar Dhawan while revealing the new look

Meanwhile, a question mark still hangs around on the availability of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma for the Test series that will follow the limited-overs contests. As per ESPNCricinfo reports, both the players will miss the first two Test matches given their current update in recovery from respective injuries.

India will miss Virat Kohli after the first Test in Adelaide, a day-night affair, as he returns back home for the birth of his first child.
