The Indian team has been in quarantine in Sydney since arriving in Australia and has been allowed to practice outdoors during their 14-day stay in isolation. This has seen the extended Indian squad comprising of limited-overs and Test specialists training together.
In a recent video uploaded by the BCCI on their official Twitter account, Cheteshwar Pujara and Mayank Agarwal were seen hitting the nets and sweating it out before the crunch series against the Australians begins on November 27, beginning with the ODI matches.
With 5840 runs in the longest format of the game, Pujara has been a vital cog in the batting wheel of Team India when it comes to Test cricket. And he was India’s best batsman by far during their successful campaign in 2018-19, scoring more than 500 runs including 3 centuries to his name.
Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal has also been named in all the three formats of the game and is coming off a brilliant IPL 2020, where he scored 424 runs with one century to his name at a good strike-rate. He was seen practicing for the white-ball matches, while Pujara was going against the red and pink ball preparing for the first-ever day-night Test between the two nations.

The four-match series will be a part of the World Test Championship (WTC). India and Australia are at the top two spots in the WTC standings.
