After landing in Australia last week, Indian cricketers are currently serving a 14-day quarantine in Sydney. They are also practicing while being in a bio-secure bubble.
On Tuesday (November 17), skipper Virat Kohli had a hit in the nets as he batted against the Indian bowling attack.
During the intense practice session, Kohli faced Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin under the observation of head coach Ravi Shastri.
Taking to Twitter, he shared the video of his practice and wrote, “Love test cricket practice sessions.”
Team India will face Australia in three ODIs, three T20Is and four Tests during the tour Down Under.
The three ODIs will be played from November 27 to December 2, while the T20I series will be held from December 4 to December 8.
The battle for the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy will kick-start with the pink-ball affair at the Adelaide Oval on December 17. Melbourne will host the second Test from December 26 while the third and fourth Tests will be played in Sydney Cricket Ground (January 7-11) and Brisbane's Gabba (January 15-19), respectively.
Virat Kohli will miss the last three Tests due to the birth of his first child.
Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting a child in January, and the captain has been granted permission by the BCCI to return home after the Test series opener.
