Team India is in quarantine in Sydney, Australia, and will be involved in all-format series with the hosts from November 27. Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be available for the limited-overs leg and the first Test before flying back for the birth of his first child.

Kohli receives a huge amount of appreciation from the critics in Australia as they like to watch the modern master bat in full flow. Former Australian cricketer and coach Darren Lehmann has also joined the Virat Kohli-appreciation club as he had a few nice words to say to the Indian captain ahead of the series.

Lehmann told Sydney Herald, "He always pushes the boundaries, but that's what great players do. He wants to win every game. That was one of the more fiery ones [2017 series] going around in recent years."

His must-win attitude in every game is similar to the Aussies who have been vocal in the past and have also shown with their on-field actions about how desperate they are to win. Lehmann believes that it is natural to Kohli and he brings in all his energy into the game.

"That's just the way he plays; he plays full of energy and doesn't want to lose," the 50-year-old said.

India's tour of Australia will begin from November 27 with three ODIs followed by three T20Is from December 4. The first Test, which will be the only Test involving Kohli, will be a Day/Night fixture in Adelaide starting on December 17.
