On Monday (November 16), veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was seen giving throwdowns to KL Rahul during a net session.

In a video shared by BCCI on Twitter, Ashwin can be seen launching volleys to Rahul using a tennis racquet, and the latter is seen practicing pull shots.

"How is that for innovation? @ashwinravi99 grabs racquet while @klrahul11 faces volleys with his bat #TeamIndia," BCCI wrote in the caption.

Team India will face Australia in three ODIs, three T20Is and four Tests during the tour Down Under.

The three ODIs will be played from November 27 to December 2, while the T20I series will be held from December 4 to December 8.

The battle for the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy will kick-start with the pink-ball affair at the Adelaide Oval on December 17. Melbourne will host the second Test from December 26 while the third and fourth Tests will be played in Sydney Cricket Ground (January 7-11) and Brisbane's Gabba (January 15-19), respectively.

India skipper Virat Kohli will miss the last three Tests tour due to the birth of his first child.

Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting a child in January, and the captain has been granted permission by the BCCI to return home after the Test series opener.
