Indian cricket team left for Australia from Dubai on Wednesday evening (November 11) after a hectic IPL 2020 in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The large touring party which includes specialists for all three formats will quarantine for 14 days after landing in Australia, ahead of the 1st ODI against the hosts on November 27.

Indian players were seen in customized PPE kits and masks at Dubai Airport, as they happily posed for pictures before their long flight. The tour consists of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is, before the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy which will be played over 4 Tests.

BCCI tweeted, "#TeamIndia is BACK! Let's embrace the new normal. #AUSvIND"

Indian captain Virat Kohli will only play the First Test in Adelaide which will be a pink-ball affair under lights, before returning home for the birth of his first child. KL Rahul is his deputy for the white-ball leg in absence of Rohit Sharma, who is slated to join the squad for the Test series once he completes his rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Fast bowler Ishant Sharma is also expected to be fit for the Tests.
