India pacer Deepak Chahar has been out of action for quite some time now. He had suffered a hamstring injury before the IPL 2022. Though he was expected to play in the second half of the tournament, he suffered a back injury during his rehabilitation in NCA, further pushing his recovery time.

This led to him missing the entire IPL 2022 and then also missing the rest of the series that India played. He is now back in the mix after missing the action for more than five months and regaining full fitness.

Deepak will be part of the pace attack in the Zimbabwe ODI series later this month and has begun his preparations at the CSK academy in Chennai.
