RCB posted 198/3 against UPW in Bengaluru.
Smriti Mandhana and S Meghana (28) added 51 runs for opening wicket in just 5.3 overs. Mandhana carried on her brilliant form and smashed 80 in 50 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. The carnage didn’t stop there as Richa Ghosh hammered 21* in 10 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.
But the real propulsion to the RCB innings was given by Ellyse Perry, who smashed 58 in just 37 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes as RCB posted 198/3 in 20 overs. For UPW, Anjali Sarvani, Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone picked a wicket each.

The highlights of the RCB innings were the quickfire fifty by Mandhana and Perry.
However, a moment in the innings by Perry went viral as her six caused a lot of damage to the display car. The incident happened on the last ball of the 19th over bowled by Deepti Sharma.
Perry stepped out to meet the ball and swung it over the mid-wicket boundary for a six. The ball soared over the boundary towards the display car, and perfectly hit the back window of the electric vehicle, shattering the glass completely.
Even Perry put her hand on her head in shock after seeing the window getting shattered.
