For the T20I series, Indian players, who were either rested or not picked for the ODIs, arrived in the Caribbean on Tuesday (July 26). The likes of Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, and Kuldeep Yadav checked into the team hotel in Trinidad.
Taking to Twitter, BCCI shared a video of the same with the caption: “The T20I squad members have arrived here in Trinidad. The 5-match T20I series is all set to commence on July 29.”
Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant also posted a picture with Rohit and Karthik on Instagram, announcing their arrival in Trinidad.
Top-order batter KL Rahul, who has also been named in the T20I squad, is likely to miss the series after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
