WATCH- Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana makes ‘Rafale down’ gesture; Nashra Sundhu makes ‘6-0’ sign after SA WODI

Earlier, Haris Rauf had made the same gesture during Pakistan's drubbing at India's hands in Asia Cup.

Not long after Pakistan men's team pacer Haris Rauf sparked outrage with his 6-0 and plane-crashing gestures against India, women's international star Nashra Sundhu did a similar stunt. Nashra Sundhu represented Pakistan's women's squad in a one-day international against South Africa on Monday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

She took six wickets in the game, becoming Pakistan's fastest woman to reach 100 wickets in ODI cricket. While her performance on the field was praised by many, supporters felt the six-finger sign she made may have been avoided, considering the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 India-Pak dispute.

Sundhu also took to social media after the match and shared a photo of her six-finger gesture.

"Alhamdullillah, truly humbled to reach the milestone of 100 ODI wickets with a player of the match award. I am grateful to my family, teammates, and support staff for their constant support. Looking ahead with gratitude and determination," she wrote on X.

Then a video made waves on social media, in which Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana Khan was seen making airplane-crashing gestures. She was standing near the Pakistan contingent, where, in conversation with coach Mohammed Wasim, Fatima made the gesture with a huge smile on her face.
