WATCH- “Meet my stiff friend”- Rohit Sharma hilariously teases Abhishek Nayar

Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Nayar are working together on India star's fitness.

India ODI captain Rohit Sharma was seen in a viral video, making fun of his friend and former India player and coach Abhishek Nayar. Rohit barged into Nayar’s room and called him out for being ‘stiff’ at all times.

According to reports, Rohit and Nayar are working privately in Mumbai to increase the former's level of fitness before the October India-Australia ODI series. Although he is in his late 30s, Rohit has retired from Test and T20Is and is reportedly committed to giving his body the best workout possible for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

Meanwhile, the viral video showed the funny behavior of Rohit Sharma. The two appeared to be in a hotel suite with adjoining bedrooms. Rohit instructed Nayar to "get up" as soon as he walked into the room.

Rohit said, "That’s Abhishek Nayar, by the way; whether he plays, whether he coaches, or whether he’s on his bed, he’s always stiff."

Nayar couldn't help but smile, though he did offer a great rejoinder to Rohit, who has been a close buddy for quite some time.

To this, Nayar responded, "I am flexible when I am coaching."

Rohit laughed cheekily at what appeared to be an inside joke between the two Mumbai residents. He then turned to Amit Dubey, a sports physiotherapist, and mocked him slightly.
