Rohit Sharma called time on his Test career on May 7.
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant playfully mentioned Rohit Sharma as someone who bosses everyone in the dressing room.
He made this statement during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. India head coach Gautam Gambhir also featured on the show along with wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and young opener Abhishek Sharma.
When Pant was asked who bosses around in the Indian dressing room like a ‘Jethani’, he instantly took the name of Rohit, saying, “Rohit bhai is like that. Rohit bhai comes on strong.”
Gambhir, sitting beside Pant, burst into laughter said, “Ab toh retire ho gaya. Haan haan, abhi naam le lo!” The whole audience left in splits as well, and Pant just smiled.
