Ben Stokes, England captain, was left bewildered thanks to a Pakistan journalist’s question in the best English he could speak on the eve of the third Test against Pakistan at Rawalpindi.

With the match set in spin-friendly Rawalpindi, Stokes felt confident with his spinners and prioritized batting first. Pakistan retained their spin plan, expecting for a big win after a difficult year, with both teams eager to exploit spin conditions.

The series is currently tied at 1-1, and the English captain highlighted the significance of the upcoming match on Wednesday, stating that the spin-friendly conditions in Rawalpindi will most likely play a critical role in determining the outcome.

As the England captain prepared to address his team's performance, a Pakistani reporter struggled to formulate a query about England's outstanding 823-run total from the first Test in Multan, specifically whether Stokes thought his team could repeat that accomplishment in the forthcoming third Test.

The reporter attempted to inquire whether England intend to score over 800 runs in Rawalpindi after achieving so in the first Test in Multan. However, the 33-year-old claimed that he did not understand the query. The all-rounder apologized and asked him to repeat the inquiry.

Here is the video:

The score of 823/7 declared was Test cricket's fourth-highest total, led by Harry Brook's 317 and Joe Root's 262. However, Pakistan made undesired history by being the first team to lose after hitting 500 runs in their first innings.
