WATCH- Alyssa Healy jokingly chides husband Mitchell Starc for being highly critical in mid-innings interview

Starc was suggesting to Healy about the line and length of her teammate Kim Garth.

Australia cricket’s power couple Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy were seen in a hilarious video in which Healy chided her husband Starc for his comments during the innings break of the second women's ODI match against South Africa at North Sydney on Wednesday, January 7.

Mitchell Starc is well-known for his lethal pace coupled with swing bowling while her wife Alyssa Healy is renowned for her batting brilliance and wicketkeeping skills. While Starc is Australia’s leading pacers, Healy is the captain of the Australian women’s team across captain.

They are often seen supporting each other in the ground as well, if their schedules don’t clash.

This instance, a video shows Mitchell Starc suggesting to his wife and Australian women's skipper about the line and length of her teammate Kim Garth during the mid-innings interview.

He said: "I feel Kim Garth can bowl a fraction fuller to get an edge. She is bowling a holding and discipline line, but don’t you think if she pitches it up, there is a chance of getting an edge.”

In response, Healy stumped her husband with her comment saying: "If you are being highly critical, yes, she can. But that’s her natural line and length. She has to keep one end tight, and that’s what her role is in the team."

Starc was seen throwing up his hands after listening to Healy’s remark while his co-commentators including Lisa Sthalekar having a hearty laugh.
