India is to play Afghanistan next at home in three T20Is.
India captain Rohit Sharma is known for his witty remarks and for having fun with reporters during press conferences. Something similar was seen when Rohit faced a volley of questions after India’s win in the second and final Test against South Africa in Cape Town.
With this win, India also managed to level the series 1-1. This was the first time any Asian team won a Test match at Newlands in Cape Town.
Indian team’s next assignment will be a T20I series at home against Afghanistan and it remains to be seen whether Rohit Sharma will lead the Men in Blue in that series. Sharma has not played a T20I for India since the T20 World Cup 2022.
