Qalandars posted a photo of Hussain Talat drinking tea and took a dig at India.
Qalandars posted a photo of Hussain Talat having tea from a cup and decided it was the best moment to take a dig at Indian fighter jet pilot Abhinandan Varthaman.
Lahore Qalandars, who have over one million followers on Twitter, tweeted Talat’s photo drinking tea with a caption reading: “Ye tu “Tea is Fantastic” hogya”.
This was done in poor taste referring to the 2019 surgical strikes done by the Indian Air Force where wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s MiG-21 crashed in Pakistan and he was captured by the locals and handed over to the Pakistan army.

A video was later released by Pakistani authorities, where Abhinandan thanked their officials for providing him with medical care and treating him professionally. A Pakistani official then asked Abhinandan if he liked the tea and he responded: “The tea is fantastic, thank you.”
Since then, Pakistan’s social media has been ablaze with “tea is fantastic” memes aimed at India and Abhinandan.
However, this latest tweet by Qalandars is seen in poor light and is expected to sour the already tense relations between the two countries.
Not only this, but their tweet led to Indian fans roasting them on social media with replies of their own, including one of Kohli hammering them in the T20 World Cup 2022 in MCG.
