Bumrah, Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, and Karun Nair are few of cricketers celebrating their birthdays today.
December 6 is quite an auspicious date for Indian cricket fans given that multiple cricketers have their birthdays on this date. Citing this, India keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik took to Twitter to wish some of them.
A few notable names to celebrate their birthday on December 6 are former India pacer RP Singh, ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, terrific fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, stylish Shreyas Iyer and only the second Indian to score a Test triple ton, Karun Nair.
RP Singh was part of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup win and had won a Player of the Match award on his Test debut against Pakistan in Faisalabad in 2006. The left-arm bowler from Raebareli played 82 international matches for India and took 134 wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja is currently out of international cricket as he rehabilitates from knee surgery. He has 5427 runs and 482 wickets in 294 international matches thus far.
Jasprit Bumrah is widely acknowledged as one of the best pacers currently and even captained India in a Test match in England. He has 128 Tests, 121 ODI, and 70 T20I wickets to his name including a Test hat-trick.
Shreyas Iyer has been touted as one of the most stylish and brilliant batters who will take Indian cricket forward in the coming few years. He scored a century on his Test debut and has two tons in ODIs.

Dinesh Karthik reminded people that if you are born on December 6, there was a huge probability of becoming a famous cricketer.

Not only did Karthik wishes the players on their birthdays, but Shreyas Iyer also used the Spiderman meme to wish his fellow cricketers as well.
