Pakistan captain Babar Azam came in for some heavy trolling after he dropped two sitter catches during his team’s 67-run drubbing at the hands of England team in the 7th and last T20I of the series, which resulted in Pakistan losing the series 3-4.

England was put into bat and managed to score 209/3 thanks to Dawid Malan’s 78*, Ben Duckett’s 30, and Harry Brook’s 46*. In reply, Pakistan was never in the chase after openers Babar and Mohammad Rizwan were cleaned up for 4 and 1 respectively.

Pakistan managed 142/8 in 20 overs with Shan Masood making 56 runs and Khushdil Shah making 27. England bowlers exposed Pakistan's middle-order after the batting failures of in-form batters and Moeen & Co. finished their historic tour to Pakistan with a T20I series win.

Babar was not only a failure with the bat and looked listless as captain when England batters were smashing Pakistani bowlers to all parts of the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, he was also poor in the field as he dropped two simple catches.

One of them was Dawid Malan, who hit 8 fours and 3 sixes in his 47-ball knock. And another was of Harry Brook, both of whom took England past the finish line.

After the Pakistan team lost the match and the series, Babar Azam came in for some heavy trolling on social media for his dropped catches.
