England lost the second T20I by 58 runs.
After scoring a match-winning 90 off 53 balls against South Africa in the first T20I, he proved to be the highest scorer for the home side in the second match as well, which England lost.
Bairstow scored 30 off 21 when England was chasing a monumental target of 208, however, it wasn't enough as the Men in Red fell short by 58 runs and the series was leveled 1-1 and the decider to be played on Sunday, July 31.
During his knock, Bairstow was seen unleashing an out of this world shot that left many jaws on the floor of the people who were watching the match. The incident took place on the first ball of the 15th over of England's batting innings, bowled by Kagiso Rabada.
Rabada bowled a yorker around the leg-stump seeing Bairstow shuffle towards the leg side, but the batter got the better of the Proteas pacer, as he managed to get some bat on it and the ball went between his legs racing towards the fine-leg boundary.

This shot was made popular by England women’s batter Nat Sciver and has been dubbed the ‘nutmeg’.
