England are chasing 296 runs to win the third Test and whitewash New Zealand in the 3-Test series.
His brilliant timing and a potentially new array of shots in his quiver have led to Root becoming a highlight hogger of sorts. Something similar was seen when England set out to chase down the 296-run target in the third Test against New Zealand at Leeds.
