PBKS was bowled out for 115 runs, which DC chased down inside 11 overs.
On Wednesday, the Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by nine wickets in the ongoing IPL 2022. With the victory, Rishabh Pant's team moved up to sixth place in the IPL 2022 table.
The DC chased down the target in only 10.5 overs after bowling the PBKS out for 115 runs at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, with Prithvi Shaw (41) and David Warner (61*) leading the team to victory.
Warner has been in excellent form for the Capitals this season, scoring 50 runs for the third time in as many games. Warner's antics on social media, where he routinely publishes Instagram reels mimicking sequences and dances from Indian films, are almost as consistent as his on-field shenanigans. Following his victory over PBKS, Warner adopted the 'Pushpa' posture.
The Australian hitter took the famous pose as he returned to the changing room after the game.

In his 30-ball innings, he hit ten fours and one six. Against Punjab Kings, the left-handed hitter also reached 1,000 runs. When asked about his current scoring spree, the 35-year-old remarked, "Form is temporary, class is permanent."
"For me, it's about sticking to the basics and knowing my gameplan ... I'm putting my best foot forward and trying to score runs for my team and get them off to good starts. At the moment, we're putting good partnership, me and Prithvi at the top, and hope that continues for rest of the tournament," he added.
The 115 scored by Punjab Kings are the lowest by any team in the ongoing IPL 2022. DC chased down the score with 57 balls to spare, boosting their NRR (Net Run Rate).
