India won the U19 World Cup final against England by 4 wickets to win the title.
India defeated England by 4 wickets in the summit clash of the U-19 World Cup to lift the trophy for the 5th time. Wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Bana sealed the game for India with a six, emulating the ex-India senior team captain MS Dhoni, who had secured the 2011 World Cup in the same way.
The Yash Dhull-led side did a great job restricting England for 189 runs in the first innings. Raj Bawa bagged a five-wicket haul (5/31), while Ravi Kumar took four wickets for 34 runs.
For England, James Rew played a 95-run knock to revive their innings which was struggling at 91/7 at one stage. Rew and James Sales (34*) put up 94 runs partnership to take them to a fighting total.

In reply, India too lost early wickets, but they managed to win the match with 14 balls left in their innings. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was dismissed on a duck, but Shaik Rasheed and Harnoor Singh steadied the run-chase with a 49-run stand.
Harnoor later got out for 21 in the 18th over, and Rasheed scored a half-century before getting dismissed in 27th over, leaving India three down on 95 runs. Skipper Dhull added only 17 runs before Raj Bawa & Nishant Sindhu added a fifty-run stand and took India close to the target.
Bana, who scored 13* off 5, finished the run-chase in style with a six, and the Twitterati got reminded of Dhoni's finish in the 2011 World Cup final against Sri Lanka.
