India’s newly appointed white-ball skipper Rohit Sharma on Friday (December 17) shared valuable tips with the Indian U-19 cricketers at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

After being ruled out of the South Africa Test tour due to injury, Rohit is currently undergoing a rehab at the NCA, where India's junior cricketers are attending a preparatory camp ahead of the U-19 Asia Cup.

Taking to Twitter, BCCI shared some pictures, in which Rohit can be seen addressing the young players.

"Priceless lessons #TeamIndia white-ball captain @ImRo45, made most of his rehab time as he addressed India's U19 team during their preparatory camp at the NCA in Bengaluru," tweeted BCCI.

Rohit Sharma also uploaded pictures on Instagram of his interaction with the budding cricketers.

“Nice speaking to the future of Indian cricket… @indiancricketteam,” he wrote in the caption.

Rohit, who was appointed as vice-captain for the Test series on South Africa tour, sustained a left hamstring injury during his training session in Mumbai and was ruled out of the entire Test series.

Priyank Panchal replaced him in the squad for the three-Test series, slated to get underway on December 26 in Centurion.

Rohit Sharma is expected to lead the side in the three-match ODI series on the tour of South Africa, starting January 19.
