MS Dhoni's last tweet came in January when he had tweeted about his farm.
Former India captain MS Dhoni lost his blue tick on the micro-blogging site Twitter, on Friday (August 6). The blue tick badge next to the profile name lets people know that an account on the social media platform is authentic.
Notably, Dhoni hasn't been active on Twitter for a long time. He last posted a tweet on January 8, earlier this year. In June, vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu had lost his blue tick.

Fans were surprised to find out that one of the most celebrated Indian cricketers doesn't have a blue tick on Twitter anymore. The Twitterati came up with their assumptions, while some also joked about it.
According to Twitter, they can remove the blue verified badge at any time and without notice if an account changes its username (@handle) or an account becomes inactive or incomplete or if the owner of the account is no longer for which position they were initially verified and do not otherwise meet their criteria for verification since leaving such position.
