Sreesanth returned to cricket last year after serving out a 7-year ban.
Indian pacer Sreesanth still hopes to make a comeback to the international circuit after a 10-year absence. Sreesanth was banned for life from all cricket as he faced spot-fixing allegations during 2013 IPL. However, in September 2020, the Supreme Court of India reduced the sentence to seven years.
Sreesanth made a comeback to the domestic circuit in 2020/21 season and represented Kerala. He looked to be in fine form and picked a five-wicket haul against Uttar Pradesh and followed it up with 4/30 against Bihar. However, he was unfortunate not to feature in the 2021 IPL auction.

The 38-year old took to Instagram and said that he still hopes to play for India again.
"My name is Fading away on t shirts print .but not in mind and body esp my soul …wants me to keep going ..need all ur blessings nd wishes ..as always ..miles to go before I hang my boots..I’m never gonna give up," Sreesanth captioned the image.
Sreesanth received a lot of love for the post and gained 30,000 likes within 20 hours. Popular Bollywood singer Deepak Thakur commented saying "Bhaiya himmat nai harna hai. (Never give up brother). You will be back."
However, several fans thought that the Kerala bowler will not make a comeback to the Indian team as he is already in his late 30s. Sreesanth will look to take inspiration from James Anderson who has aged like fine wine and is still going strong at the age of 39.
